Terrible, terrible news on the way. I can't say now because of time, but I'm not above using another cheap literary device to add to the suspense. I'm safe and everything, but in a day or two the bad news will be revealed.

I could delete it, but that would detract from the raw energy of your comment, and I don't like whitewashing. I don't think my grandma reads this--although if she does she will surely hunt you down and wash your clothes without ironing them.
Still in shock. Legitimate news forthcoming when I have real time with a computer . . although I think it's okay now to say we got evacuated. Everyone's depressed, not excluding myself.
