Constance Chipaka
Well, it took a lot of time, effort, and a trip halfway across the world (ostensibly to "fight poverty" or some garbage), but I have finally named a child. Her name is Constance.
My buddy Nedson had a baby and hadn't named her yet. I chided him, and he asked for me to give some suggestions. I gave him five: I mentioned my girlfriend's and niece's names (aww . . ) as well as the name of a friend, Corinne. In a way, I'm disappointed, because while I love the way Constance sounds coming out of your mouth, and I dig older, somewhat obscure words, I was secretly pulling for the last one I suggested, Velouria.
Nonetheless, I have a baby credit on my resume now. Pretty sure I'm a godfather now.

So, I'd like to re-visit your suggestion of Velouria. Im guessing you're just a raging PIXIES fan right? Well, regardless, its a cool name. Although when I think of Velouria, I think of gangsta track suits, and posh lamborghinis. But, those arent bad things. Keep up the good work.

One time, there was this guy named Dave, who gave his cousin Adam crap about not updating his blog often enough. Then Dave didn't write on his own blog for eight months. Can I get a "WTF, mate?"
Adam, Velouria was also covered by Weezer on a Pixies tribute album. You can't go wrong with that. As a name, I find that it sounds best pronounced with a British accent.
I found all name suggestions down right Anglo... this poor black kid is gonna grow up with a broke ass white kids name. That's like a white kid in rural Montana with the name DeShawn or Ebony. Shame on you Adam. Ha! My suggestion would have been to name him MJ or Voltron... either works.
